NATURE'S WRATH
Does Nature express her quiet grief
in the trembling of each tiny leaf?
What to us are technological successes
she may see as wanton excesses.
And when her forces do let loose,
is it due in part to human abuse?
RAPTUROUSLY, THE RIVERS
longingly,
the roots grow deeper
tenderly,
the white fog spreads itself
caressively,
the wind bends the bamboo
joyously,
the snowflakes swirl in the moonlight
passionately,
the rainstorm inundates the forest
rapturously,
the rivers dance to the sea
lovingly,
the earth spins in her orbit
